More water - more Crete (Kreta)

I hope I do not cheat with little water and a lot of cycle on the first one, but this was my transportation in Crete, the hunt for salt water, and the view over Kissamos Bay

After Kissamos, you turn north-west and find Gramvousa... Go there!

Ans then; Hania Port

This last one in black/white are from east part of the port (supercozy place)

I've made a gps track if you want to try the waterphotos/trip :https://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=993647

It was some water, some cyckling, a dash of Raki and you'll find more on http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

Water in Crete

Just returned from some training in Creta. Was impressed by the people, traditions, the history and the pride they had. A great place to share water on http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

A bicycle was my transport and my favorites water moments were:

The cold Mythos after some biking in the mountain. Theodori Island in the back. Im on Agia Marina Beach.

Looking at local heroes in the afternoon. It blows a little in the evening...

Aaaaahhhhh.... Thet trip out to Gramvousa Island.

And the evenings at Roussos Beach Bar. I almost - just had - Cola Zero, and one Raki.

Visit http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/ . They are all sober, and very good with water photos!!

Yamas! (skål!)

La inn en youtube-snutt fra Zourva. Det gir deg noen sekunder fra fjellet.

A place in my world and a farmer

I'm not very close to religion, but I respect it.
A lot in this case.

This is Lithuania. Hills of crosses.
Went there backpacking in 2008. Heard the story about the first man who put down a cross. A farmer. The daughter was sick and he was making his cross to get some hope. Sat it on the hill. Then the next one came. Then another...
New leaders came to the country. Burned it down. All the crosses on the hill. Then they left.
Another man came. New cross. Then the next one...

Hill of crosses have now (I guess) 2-3 one million crosses. Big. Small. In three. In metal. Some are set up for prayer. Some of the recalls. Some to thank.
Wandering around and looking at the small text about hope, about memories, about prayer. Becomes almost religious.

Think a little more; value; 500,000 (happy value)

More world, cool people; http://showyourworld.blogspot.com/

Water in four sesons

Waterpeople are togheter again and I looked in my Norwegian harddisk.
I found this:

Spring.
A kayak trip with a tent and a bottle of wine. This is just before I lit the fire and opened the wine. Its a lake in Hurum, Norway ("Sandungen"). One hour too padle and you can not be reached on your mobile. Can not be reached = heaven.

Fall.
Still in my backyard, Hurum. The very south end. 20 min walking from "Tofte". You hit Denmark if you sail in to the horizon and keep on for 48 hours. (if you are lucky)

Summer.
A lake called "Langevann". Still Hurum, Norway. 3 hours walk from my house and the photo is shoot by a farmer lady who belive bald men with beard are more handsome than Brad Pitt. She is the only one. (uique )

Winter.
Or winter turning to spring. Two days ago and 400 meters from my house. I write "meters from my house" beckause I am a bit proud of Hurum...
The bird is a "Terne" and I would like to be a better photograph on this shoot. Hoping for a sharper image next time.

Bakke said; give me water!

http://fotoverden.blogspot.com/ is the place and Bakke is the lady that gives hyperactive photo juniors a goal for the month. It's water this time.

And I've seen water and been to:

Gjersetbygda in Romsdalen, where I found this lake.

my backyard forest in Hurum - where we have path wher I tried to catch this frozen hart with melting water in the river.

and this lion spitting water in Rome, Piazza Poppolo. A picture I blogg to much beacause I like the calm atmosphere of the lady reading here book..
visit "Fotoverden" (the photoworld) on http://fotoverden.blogspot.com/

The water I found in Rome

The river "Trieve" and sporty Italians in smal boats.

if you go over this one to the right - you'll meet the pope and the Vatikan

It was not the lion with the water that impressed me most in "Piazza Poppolo" it was the lady with the book. I'll do that next time in Rome. A book on a piazza, and maybe a therrmos flask with coffe...

from Piazza Navona. This is one of four men symbolising four rivers. Nice piazza. No cars. Plenty with people and dolce vita...

Ciao! bella waterboys and laydys! -and if you'r not one - go straight to http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

I found a good skywatcher or two!!

In the Piazza del Poppolo. I shot this tree gentlemen. One of them shouting go http://skyley.blogspot.com/ ! and the two others just looking at the sky...

above Piazza del Poppolp with the Vatikan in the horizon, and http://mstoastburner.blogspot.com/ said; "maybe there was someone behind me, taking a photo of me taking a photo of a skywatcher. A skywatcher skywatcher watcher!....

It's 08.30 in the moorning from "Villa Borghese" and he is looking towards the Vatikan.

Guess this was the smartest man I saw on the trip. Relaxing. Sipping a cup of italian coffe and maybe thinking; how did it look like 1000 years ago...

skywatcher on the "Piazza del Poppolo"

Some skywatcers on the east side of Piazza Poppolo.

Just read that a man should hold his bloggs short, so I stop with this shoot from the morning. Moore sky and good people on; http://skyley.blogspot.com/
