That's the type of trip you don't want to trip your kayak. Looks cold.
Seem so cold but a very tranquil trip. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful shot with such appealing simplicity.

Thanks for the visit and kind comments. While we love our ocean kayak trips, we really love our simple sit-on kayak at the cabin. It is so easy to jump and and head out for some exercise and to explore and beachcomb. I know what you mean about becoming a billionaire. We feel that way after we moved to our floating cabin on Powell Lake. To us it is worth millions, in fact it is priceless - a huge part of our life and lifestyle. - Margy
p.s. Powell Lake is a fjord that was cut off from the ocean after the ice age glaciers receded. There's even ancient salt water at the bottom. We brought some up and have it on our windowsill.
HI again - In answer to your question about our sit-on kayak. It is made by Ocean Kayak in Ferndale, Washington. They are available online from the $600 to $1000 range depending on features and accessory packages. We found ours used. They really last and are almost unsinkable. In fact ours was found washed up on the ocean shore. All it needed was a little cleanup and the purchase of a adjustable seat. - Margy
